Does Advertising with Google AdWords Work?

We hear the following question all the time:

“I signed up for Google AdWords, but am paying a high cost for no results. Is there a way to implement Google AdWords or Facebook Ads at a low-cost?”

We have found that setting up an AdWords account is very simple.  But running a successful Google AdWords campaign is not an easy task.  It requires not only knowledge, but also constant attention.  In reality, it is not that different from running any other marketing campaign.  It can be done correctly and successfully or not.

The combination of Google AdWords, a well designed Website with a clear message and goal is necessary to see any positive results.

So if you have been running an AdWords campaign and it has not been working as expected, ask yourself the following questions:

  1. Is my website setup for conversion?
  2. Do I know exactly what I want clients to do when they reach my website?
  3. Is someone paying attention, analyzing, measuring and adjusting the online PPC campaign?
  4. Is my budget adequate?

Just because it is easy to set up, it doesn’t mean that it “runs itself”.  One of the best features of online marketing is how much we can measure.  If we measure and adjust accordingly, our campaign should be constantly improving.  So even if your PPC campaign is not delivering the expected results, there is a big chance that when done correctly, it will reward you handsomely.
