Google announced today that they are adding more features to help us track what is going on in eCommerce Websites. We will be able to use custom variables. Using custom variables we will be able to segment the traffic. We will now know the source of the revenue generated by the eCommerce, including keywords and internal search terms. Filters have also been improved and now support hostname, internal search terms, URLs, host names and page titles. If you are already filtering by these, your report could change, so keep in mind that existing reports could be affected by this change too.
